On December 6, many users of the popular NiceHash exchange service began to reported problems. Service went offline, the miners did not connect to the pools. On the official page on Twitter, developers posted information that the problem is being solved.
NiceHash with huge problem
The first reports on Twitter and Reddit have miners worried as it seems NiceHash has been hacked or is at least going through some strange maintenance period. Some people saying that NiceHash transferred all of the BTC sitting in miners wallets into a single wallet before NH fully went down. However, the situation did not change on 7 December. During the day, the service is not available, WklTribune has reported that they’ve been in contact with NiceHash Team and Andrej Nabergoj said that NiceHash is “assessing the situation and working with the authorities. We’ll have a public statement shortly”.

NC is open to talk and want to solve the problem:
Problems with wallet
As Freedman.Club wrote, that information is spread that the service was hacked and stolen about 5000 BTC(?!). Reddit is informed that about $ 60 million users were stolen when hacking, by transferring funds from users to one wallet. Many users note that the day before they had problems with the withdrawal of funds. The received profit did not correspond to statistics.
NiceHash was considered one of the best in its class. It gave access to the mayning even for beginners who are not completely sophisticated in the technical aspects of this craft. Therefore, if the information is confirmed, problems will arise in a large number of people.
Even assuming the company has everything under control and no funds have been lost, this situation teaches a lesson — trusting people with your coins and private keys is never a good idea.
