The controversial SegWit2x is back in even more controversy. The creators of the new project talk about the hard forku Bitcoin network on December 28. It may turn out, however, that the B2X coin will in fact have nothing to do with Bitcoin and its purpose is only to use its popularity.
Bitcoin Segwit2X (B2X )
As we know, firstly, it saw miner support shrink ahead of the predetermined November 18 date. Then, the team behind the hard fork canceled it. Next, a rogue group tried to fork the network at block 494,784, but never actually produced a block due to software error- and in fact, they may have forked at the wrong block. It seems that the new B2X is an entirely separate project benefitting off of the name of the cancelled one. However, futures trading is still conducted at a number of crypto-exchange markets at a price near 0.01 BTC (HitBTC).
For now, it is known that the new SegWit2x claims to have been redesigned with better replay protection in addition to a 4mb block size (the original SegWit2x called for an upgrade to 2mb). Predictably, the 21 million SegWit2x tokens [B2X] will be distributed on a one-to-one ratio to BTC holders.
As a precautionary measure (and to avoid hassle), most large exchanges do not support the trading of most of these newly-forked coins. So, where to buy Segwit2X?

The founder promised that in addition to the common practice of crediting BTC holders with equivalent balances of the new coin, they would also receive “a proportional number of Satoshi Nakamoto’s Bitcoins as a reward for their commitment to progress.”
“Our team’s plans do not include a complete replacement of the existing standard, but a peaceful existence and addition to the classic Bitcoin. During the hard fork on the block 501451 (December 28th, 2017) Bitcoin Segwit2X will not only revive itself, but it will make the network even better.” (project CEO member team).
